They were pretty insipid yesterday. Either Kane & Alli weren't fit (and shouldn't have started) or both should have been replaced a great deal earlier than the 75th minute. In fact the midfield got over run - when Sissoko is your best in that department, you have issues. And I don't know what Vertonghen was on yesterday but he seemed to think his main function when he had the ball was to find row Z - every single time. And Lorris for Sanchez's goal.... scared, maybe?

Pulis gone at WBA.

I wonder who they'll get in to keep them up - Tony Pulis?

And he deserves it.

But I've seen as bad, or worse, go unpunished this season. I guess it depends who you're playing for.

Well done Harry Kane - first striker to score 50+ goals in a calendar year in the English top flight since Dixie Dean.

And West Ham are officially on the up with Moyes.

Palace might also have been looking at a marked improvement under Hodgson were it not for Christian Benteke acting a total knob. Wouldn’t be surprised if it were the last time he ever played for them. Sticking him in the reserves and selling him in January would perhaps be a good way for Hodgson to show who the boss is.

That was against Chelsea.

He was fucking abysmal against Man City earlier too.

Romelu Lukaku has scored just five goals in his last 40 Premier League appearances against the 'big six'.

I actually went to the game yesterday, first time I've seen Spurs live this century, to the best of my recall, and the first time in the new Wembley. Picked a good match for it.
That is all

Like Jesus yesterday against Man U.

Absolutely blatant dive - I wonder if the EPL will be so keen to haul him over the coals retrospectively.

I thought not.

Apparently they only convene the panel if the original dive results in the opposing player being booked or a penalty being awarded.

Whether or not Michael Oliver will be reprimanded for seeing, acknowledging and failing to punish the Jesus dive is not clear.

Crazy rule.

So its only a dive if the referee gets it wrong on the pitch and takes the wrong action?

The exact opposite of if a player does something that the officials don't see and don't act upon on the pitch (like retrospective dangerous play)?

Is it any wonder no one really knows who the fuck is in control anymore?

What a goal from Defoe yesterday. Bournemouth really have a habit of scoring wonder goals.

Aul Klopp made an arse of himself yesterday. Rodgers made an arse of himself at times but I think Klopp just edged himself in front.

Seems to be feeling the pressure. Personally I miss Benitez's stupid rants.

I laughed when I read that.

Mourinho having the fucking audacity to tell others to show respect. What a twat that man is.

Nothing startling, just a few observations:

Lukaku is completely out of place and has been massively over-rated.

Wilshere is still the best English midfield player since Gazza. How he is not starting for Arsenal I’ll never know. Almost every time he picks the ball up he drives forward beating players and creating space for others, and he sees passes no other English player does. He is the only English player who has ever reminded me of Messi. (Ok, that’s probably enough now.)

Guardiola really has done a great job with Sterling this season. He looks a proper player again.

Klopp just keeps on confirming for me that he is a bellend.

:D I'd rather have Tom Cleverly.
