Yeah, another lucky Brit, sorry, plucky Brit pushing through. Nerve-wracking win for her though.

Replace those names with Federer and Djokovic right now. Unbelievable.

Djokovic was incredible for the first two sets. I'm glad Federer managed to claw a set back just to save face and make a game of it. Whoever he plays on Sunday will have to perform out of their skin to stand a chance. Hopefully it will be Murray :)

Epic match between Murray and Raonic that really could have gone either way at times. Shame Raonic ran out of steam in the last set.

He hit a huge wall at the 3-4 game mark of the 4th set. He had Murray till then, but once the tide changed he seemed helpless. I wonder if he was injured.

He was getting treatment for a groin strain.
I kept thinking "swim as far as you can, swim as far as you can".

Yeah, I think it started to effect by the end of the 4th set and certainly in the 5th which Murray acknowledged.

I didn't see the game but watching some of the highlights, Raonic really took it to him. Something to look forward to..

I was pissed off though at some at the questions levelled at Federer at his press conference, following on from some of the speculation in commentary if it was the last time we would see him playing here again. He still plays beautiful tennis and is being written off by a bunch of has-beens who only cpuld sniff at a number one ranking if they were in a toilet by themselves.

Yep, absolutely. Some journos just can't help themselves, angling for the big headline/soundbyte and coming off as disrespectful.

Fantastic Women's final. Williams wasn't at her best but Kerber played superbly and fully deserved it. Williams was very gracious in defeat.

That's the one thing about Serena- she can be cantankerous on court but she is a good sport when she loses a final. And Kerber was good- she got so many of those bludgeoning forehands back, she did deserve that win.

Well one Murray has won a title at Melbourne, can his brother make it two tomorrow? Very entertaining men's double final.

That was decisive in the end. Great fightback from Murray but he lacked consistency, even if some of the rallyes were breathtaking and brought out some of the finest play of him. It's just astonishing how many balls Djokovic gets back, sliding to the outsides and managing to play shots back from those impossible angles.

Must say though that Andy was deperately unlucky to miss out on two breaks when, on breakpoint he got screwed on two missed out-calls on Novak's second serve...

Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova said she is "fortunate to be alive" after being injured in a potentially career-threatening knife attack at her home on Tuesday.

Kvitova, 26, is undergoing surgery for severe lacerations to all four fingers on her left hand - her playing hand.

The incident, described as a burglary, happened in Prostejov, Czech Republic.

"I am shaken," said Kvitova, adding: "The injury is severe and I will need to see specialists."
