Always sad when a parent of young children dies. RIP and best wishes to all.

Reports that John Terrry's fans are trolling Ferdinand about this on Twitter. Glad I have nothing to do with this appalling service for the dim and terminally half-witted

Interesting documentary about how RF is coping with being a Mum and a Dad to his kids on BBC 1 last night. Would imagine is still on catch up if you missed it.

I've never previously had much time for Rio Ferdinand, but this was a very moving and informative documentary.
We're usually skipping around the function room in our long-johns by now...

Same here. Very brave of him to subject himself and his family to such scrutiny. He came over as being pretty well grounded compared to some bling-obsessed footballers
