It was always going to be a quiet debut for Ball, like it was written in the stars. Beverly is a cunt, who's nowhere at good as he thinks.

I love Beverly. And I agree, but he's a great defender and never gives up. I'd love to have him as a teammate. If you ever want to see a basketball movie, he's the subject of Hoop Dreams II. He had a tough childhood but was a prep star in Chicago. It will give you a different view of him, I think. Shit, the guy was undrafted and is a starter. Says something for his moxie.

I watched some of last night's game. Ball looked lost.

I don't know what the Lakers are doing - Bogut and Lopez are the only guys who look like they know what they're doing. The Lakers are trying to pull some Warriors stuff, but it goes to show you it ain't that easy. They're just running around. I like Randle and some of their other young players, but someone has to settle them down.

The Clippers looked in control all night.

I disagree, he costs his teams points and fouls, not as good as you or he thinks. I'd hate to have on my team, no self control.

Not taking anything away, I was just surprised that you're not commenting on opening week when the Magic are playing well.

 One or two games don't say shit for a team, especially at the start of the season. I'll get excited if we stay over .500.

Kevin Durant financed and dedicated court in my hometown. I know I mentioned it before but here's video.

I've heard some class stories of scouts not picking players because of little quirks or they don't like the look of a player despite their talent etc, but does anyone else feel a little worried about Fultz's constant sleepy look on his face?

No?

Carry on.

I'm worried about a lot of things concerning Fultz, his sleepy look isn't one of them.

Yeah, i'll never understand how guards get to the NBA with that bad a shot. It's a shooting league now. We have/had same problem with Payton, though he has improved.

In other news, the greek freak for season MVP.

Watching an 30 for 30 about the NY championship years. Jerry west was interviewed for the lakers, that dude holds a grudge, is competitive as fuck and has a massive chip on his shoulder. I just thought he was a nice all American type of guy. Took me a bit by surprise.

Yes Giannis has started the season very well but I don't believe that level of play is sustainable. Still he looks improved yet again especially in leading the Bucks. Now if they can somehow land Bledsoe without gutting the team that would be a big help.

Yes I am, and I wouldn't give him up for Bledsoe, but the reality is that Bledsoe at this point is an upgrade and Giannis is the only one who's untradeable.
I'd love to see Henson get out, but it's probably gonna involve Monroe and maybe someone else and a pick.

Monroe, along with a few other players in the NBA, seems like a dinosaur compared to other bigs in today's NBA.
