That's the plan.

And iron Brady's supportive socks.

I've also found if you want to follow a good football writer on Twitter, you could do worse than SI's Mike Silver.

I just read on NFL.com that Deshaun Watson tore his ACL on a non-contact option/roll out practice play.

Terrible. Very Bridgewateresque.

Oh no... that's fucking terrible if correct. He's on course for the greatest ever debut QB season. Such a shame.

Confirmed.

He had a similar injury in college and came back fine so let's hope he's ready for 2018.

That is awful news!
The outpouring of support on Twitter for him is just amazing, he really has got a lot of fans in a short amount of time.

Indeed it is.

In the short time he's played, it's clear he's a very special talent. We've seen debutants crash and burn in the past of course (painfully RGIII for Washington fans, such as myself) but he really does look exceptional. Let's hope he comes back as good as before.

A good guy too. He handed over his whole first NFL paycheck to low level staff at the Texans headquarters and training facility.

Weird NFL season. I know the Bills were on the road and it's the weird and wacky Thursday night game, but they should've killed the Jets.

After all the piss taking earlier in the season, it seems The Saints are actually serious contenders... seven in a row, and they utterly obliterated the Bills yesterday in Buffalo (where they were previously 4-0).... maybe Payton listened to some of the (justified) criticisms....

The Patriots continue to look ominus, destroying Denver on the road.... the wheels have truly come off at Mile High though, that's five defeats in a row now.

Look at those Jags at 6-3 too.....

It's really kinda simple. They have a defense now.

It seems a surefire solution to NFL success is fire a Ryan brother (Rob used to be the Saint's D-Coordinator).

Dennis Allen, ex Falcons, Saints, Broncos D-Coordinator and short-lived Raiders head coach has been their D-Coordinator for two years now.

McVay's audible calls Jared Goff are "Obama" and wrestler "Ric Flair."

Where have the simpler times of Manning's "Omaha" gone?

Doesn't really explain their atrocious defensive performance for the past two seasons up until Week 3 this year.....

Ingram is running the ball well which helps balance the offense and they've drafted lots of defensive guys the last few years which are finally showing results.

What I do not understand is why it's taken until now for Payton & Brees to realise they have to balance the offence to give themselves a chance. They trade Peterson, and then start running the ball? Weird.

There you got me.

I'd rather have Adrian Peterson than Mark Ingram too, but what the hey?

I think Peterson was completely the wrong back for New Orleans - as great as he once was, he's pretty one dimensional. He blocks almost reluctantly and he has hands of stone mostly. He never went in motion with the Vikes and nearly always had a fullback too, out of the I formation.

That there is just about every possible reason why the Saints shouldn't have touched him with a barge pole.

Just caught up with the Steelers Titans game on Thursday - when that Pittsburgh offence clicks, it's the most fun in football for me.

Agree.

Again, I'm glad I don't bet. How do the Chiefs lose to the Football fucking New York Giants? This was a game they should've won and would've put them up by two games in the conference. Luckily, the AFC West sucks.
