That's four in five Kansas has lost... they need something good for December to have any chance...

Nice to see the Cowboys take a severe battering from the Eagles last night. Without Elliot, they are very ordinary and their secondary is a shambles.

The Pats destroyed Oakland too - looks like another bubble burst there too.

not i. ingram has been absolutely stellar.

plus, he does a very impressive freaky goofy endzone dance.

this should not be underrated.

For the Saints, no. Otherwise, probably yes.

By the way - those Saints got SO FUCKING LUCKY last weekend.

well, you can call it luck if you wanna.  i call it clutch when it really mattered.  drew went 11-11 for 164 yards in the last two drives of regulation, three minutes left. for two TDs and a two point conversion to tie it up and send it to OT, erasing a fifteen point deficit.  the defense stepped it up as well.  in OT, drew did the same kinda drive again.

i certainly agree they should've done much better before that, but i think the end of that game was a thing of beauty.

I wasn't being entirely serious... I'm getting used to those collapses in Washington... something needs to (and will) change fairly quickly.

That was a massive result for the Saints - no one, least of all me (or probably you, truth be told) saw this eight game winning streak... I saw them at Wembley in early October and the best I can say is... they were the second worst team out there..... credit to Payton... he's bitten the bullet, jettisoned Peterson and installed a run game that at least gives Brees a chance. I'm not sure they're good enough to progress very far in the playoffs but the one thing I do love about Payton is - he has balls (I'll never forget the onside kick in the Superbowl) and they won;t lose from not trying to win.

^^^^^yes indeed.  mwhaha.  we went into shock over here when it happened.  jaws met floor.  and then came the joyous celebration (hopping around, screaming like idjuts, etc.).  after the game, my sister bought a patch of turf from the stadium.  she's not at all well, my sister.

no, i certainly didn't see the eight game winning streak coming after such a crappy start.  it's impressive.  three big games coming up, at the rams, home vs the panthers, at the falcons.  okafor is out for the year, alas.  lattimore needs to come back soon.  he seems to think he is, judging by his twitter feed.  he's had such a great rookie year.

Philadelphia looked magnificent against the Bears last night... they have the best record for a reason. Big test in Seattle this week.... if they come through that then they have t be strong favourites in the NFC (even considering Minnesota).

In the AFC - I can't see beyond the Patriots again...lord knows how Bellichick does it again and again but he does.

I don't think so - they're fabulous to watch but they make mistakes. I can see them being schemed into errors by the Patriots. I mean, they beat the Packers (without Rodgers) at home by the skin of their teeth. Let's put it this way - they'd need a completely mistake fee day, and for New England to have an off day, I think.

pathetic what the Giants did to Eli Manning today. Starts 210 games straight and then telling Eli we are benching him for Geno Smith?
I've always had respect for ownership (although the PSL's pissed me off) but this is just sad. Yes I understand the season is over for them but if that is the case start Webb to see what you got not Geno Smith who we already know suxs.

If the Giants really want to see what Eli is worth cut him today and you will see how many teams race to pick him up (hello jax)

Hello Denver too.

That's terrible. The problems at NYG start a long way away from Eli's area of responsibility.

As you say - trade him. There will be a queue of people ready to pick him up.

I was in Las Vegas in 2013 when Eli threw the - eventually- game winning 44 yard reception to Mario Manningham with about 3 minutes left of the Superbowl against the Patriots.... still (for me) the greatest pass I've seen in a Superbowl... he deserves a bit more respect from the organisation.

Seriously - that window is probably as tight as it can be to successfully complete a pass. Incredible throw anytime, but under that pressure - the greatest.

Their best receiver, Beckham, is gone and their running game is terrible. The Giants have an unbelievable amount of drops this year. Defenses were teeing off on him.

You could tell he was shaken talking to reporters after getting the news in the locker room. Tom Coughlin, was incensed, on hearing it and so were many former teammates.

Geno Smith is the only guy who's started for both NYC teams now.

I do want to see if they play Davis Webb a little, the rookie out of Cal. He had ungodly numbers last year and was a grad transfer from Texas Tech where he racked up some pretty good numbers too.

I've just seen that interview in the locker room - poor bastard. He's clearly very very upset (justifiably so) and I'm pretty certain he'll ask for a trade, as soon as it's possible. That is an outrageous way to treat a guy that's put together 210 consecutive game for your club - shameful.

And two Super Bowl MVPs. I bet Eli gets more interest than McAdoo when they're both on the market.

My word - Washington take an absolute pounding from the Coboys last night? How can that be? When will Washington learn you can have great QB's and recceivers but without an O Line, you're toast?

22, no, make that 23 different OL-set ups for the Skins this season.
They have been hammered by injuries.
