City have had 72% possession and are passing Arsenal off the park. We should have had a penalty too and a wrongly disallowed goal (although I'm not blaming the officials for that one)

Looks like Arsenal will win this.

Bah. I didn't get to see the second half but sounds like I have no complaints.

Zabaleta has announced he will be on his way in the summer, due to him being out of contract. Man City have five others in the same position : Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Willy Caballero.... how many of those do you think will still be there next season?

Yaya Touré is likely to be offered a new contract by Manchester City, though the club is unsure if he will accept. The midfielder, who turned 34 on Saturday, is currently employed on terms that expire in the close season. Yet after fighting his way back into Pep Guardiola’s first-team plans it is understood the manager and Txiki Begiristain, City’s sporting director, think Touré should be given the chance to extend his stay.

If the Ivorian accepts he will play into an eighth year at City, having joined from Barcelona for £24m in 2010. Earlier in the season Guardiola excluded Touré due to comments made by his agent, Dimitri Seluk, about the Catalan manager. However, he was reinstated after Touré apologised in November; since then he has made 28 appearances and scored six times.

Touré started in the 2-1 win against Leicester City which briefly took City up to third place, although they remain three points clear of fifth-placed Arsenal in the race for a Champions League berth with two games apiece remaining.

If Touré was to refuse any offer, City would ensure he was given a proper send-off at some stage in recognition of the integral role he has played in the success of the Sheikh Mansour era. Touré was a driving force in City’s two Premier League titles, scored the winning goals in the 2011 FA Cup semi-final and final, and has also helped win two League Cups.

Oh dear :D

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he would have been sacked at a "big club" like former teams Barcelona and Bayern Munich if he had ended a season without a trophy.

Jeez that's a lot of money. The game is inane.

Great player, but I think we need more defensive options and clearly we need a keeper.

The game is insane these days. I'm sure this summer transfer window is going to be the biggest ever.

And now AC Milan and Inter Milan have obscene money too.

Yep. The top 6 in this country are going to be spending money like crazy to outdo eachother (mainly Man City & Man Utd actually, but the others will join in) and the bigger European teams are going to do likewise.

Great time to be a player. Not so sure if the same can be said for the fan.

Aren't Barcelona signing a 16 year old Brazilian for £40 million or something crazy like that.

Man City apparently £30 + million for Kyle Walker?

The game just gets further and further away.

I read somewhere about some kid in Brazil who has played one game or something being signed for 30 million or some nonsense.

Kyle Walker 30 million?

*old man rant* I’ve seen better pub players ffs *old man rant*

It’s obscene.

34 years old so not a long term solution but he has excelled at Juve this season and Barça were daft to let him go.
Manchester City have approached Juventus over a move for Dani Alves, with Pep Guardiola prepared to offer the Brazil international a two-year contract as he steps up his recruitment drive for next season.

£5 million.

I can't see it as a good move - all the options they have to replace Sagna (who was also 34) etc... and they go and get 34 year old Alves... another 'non defender'.

Looks desperate to me.

Surprised city look like they're willing to sell Iheanacho. I like him, I would have him playing back up to Aguero for when he's rested or to play the league cups. Kid's just 20 years old.

Now if he has the bollocks to play him & Aguerro together... that could be exciting.

So, Claudio Bravo can make saves, provided he's facing internationals from the penalty spot...
