So 45 minutes of utter crap from Man City against Stoke. De Bruyne 'world class'? A horrendous first half from him. Toure is wandering around like an old man. And what exactly is the point of Navas - has he ever played a half decent game? They may well improve the second half - they couldn't possibly play much worse

So what's the view on Guardiola's first season?

See I don't remember much of the exciting or exhilarating.... ? Maybe it's just me.

I think it's been an abject disaster in reality - huge money has been spent (again) and is this team better than what he inherited? I don't think it is. And I'm not quite sure what he's going to do in the summer to improve it either.

They now have a real challenge for the Top Four - and, at present, i'd suggest that they're certainly not looking particularly hungry for it either.

Their attack has improved, but their midfield and defence has faltered. I'm not sure he can improve the latter either.

Just checked Man City's position after 30 games this season compared to last season:

16/17 - W17, D7, L6 GF 57 GA 34 GD 23 PTS 58
15/16 - W18, D7, L5 GF 62 GA 28 GD 34 PTS 61

So.... they've won less, lost more, scored less, conceded more and have a worse goal difference and fewer points.

And they're in fourth place now, rather than second last year.

In which way has he improved the team again?

I guess all I'm saying is - there have been absolutely no improvements up to this point. Not one.

Interestingly, if you look at Mourinho & LVG's records, the same applies.

When he makes outrageous claims like this I think Guardiola is the biggest cock in football, almost.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39541762

But Guardiola said "his (Claudo Bravo's) footwork is "the best with Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer and Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen".

Really.

Zabaleta has announced he will be on his way in the summer, due to him being out of contract. Man City have five others in the same position : Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Willy Caballero.... how many of those do you think will still be there next season?

Oh dear :D

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he would have been sacked at a "big club" like former teams Barcelona and Bayern Munich if he had ended a season without a trophy.

The game is insane these days. I'm sure this summer transfer window is going to be the biggest ever.

And now AC Milan and Inter Milan have obscene money too.

Yep. The top 6 in this country are going to be spending money like crazy to outdo eachother (mainly Man City & Man Utd actually, but the others will join in) and the bigger European teams are going to do likewise.

Great time to be a player. Not so sure if the same can be said for the fan.

Aren't Barcelona signing a 16 year old Brazilian for £40 million or something crazy like that.

Man City apparently £30 + million for Kyle Walker?

The game just gets further and further away.

I read somewhere about some kid in Brazil who has played one game or something being signed for 30 million or some nonsense.

Kyle Walker 30 million?

*old man rant* I’ve seen better pub players ffs *old man rant*

It’s obscene.
