Yes we did deserve it but the FA contrived to stack every conceivable disadvantage against Bradford City by arranging the replay 2 days after a league game.

Reading have the resources / squad depth to rest the entire team on Saturday, a luxury Bradford don't have.

Yes the 2 early goals sorted the game out but really it would have been damn near a miracle if they could have overcome that.

Parkinson said the early goals knocked the stuffing out of them but really I think there was bugger all stuffing there in the first place, which was a big part of why we were able to dominate early on.

I think the way the game was shoe-horned in was disgraceful.

Especially considering the other replay isn't until Wed 8th April!

Absolutely fantastic performance.

Hector, Chalobah, Williams, Mackie - best games of their lives.

Shame that tiny bit of quality was missing on s couple of occasions.

And that the Linos were a bit shite.

And that the ref, for no reason that I consider good, decided to play over the 15 mins in the 1st period of ET. Yeah, a touch of sour grapes but there IS no good reason why a move in progress should be allowed to carry on when time is up.

A very brave performance. Hopefully you'll now kick on from here. Arsenal were pedestrian but some of the credit for that should rightly go to Reading.

Cheers. For that squad to be in 18th place is pretty pathetic to be honest. They probably played above themselves today but I'm not sure this lot will kick on next season.

I suspect Clarke has seen enough of them these last 3/4 months in the League to realise some of them just don't quite have the heart for the slog that is the Championship.

We have a fantastic bunch of youngsters coming through and some of the older heads will be blocking their paths. I expect a bit of a clear out this summer to be honest.

In the meantime, have a read of this - pretty extraordinary achievements to my mind...

He is so clueless I have gone through the stages of frustration and anger and have now reached pity.

The club must surely want him to go, and he surely doesn’t want to be here still, but as it’s going to cost a million or 2 in compensation to sack him I suspect there is a stand off of sorts.

Meanwhile we are going down with an expensive squad and probably haven’t got sufficiently large relegation clauses in place.....

And some people questioned Madejski’s stewardship of the club.

Sad days.

Worrying times ahead.

Their run in is absolutely horrendous too - I tried to get a bet on them being relegated (just before kick off last night) but missed it by a minute. I bet they're much shorter now :(

Still 7/1 available apparently, which if true, is incredible value.

We are woeful.

It's very depressing at the moment. I have resigned myself to relegation.

Probably a bit too pessimistic. I believe Birmingham, Burton and Sunderland will go down, as all are really struggling to put any points on the board, and seem resigned to their fate. I reckon you'll be fine.

3 points from the last 8 home games.

Performance after performance of total ineptitude.

If we do stay up it will be because there are 3 terrible terrible teams in the league.

Reading 17/2 for relegation with Betfair.

Honestly, anyone reading this.... get your money out of whatever accounts it is sitting in, even contemplate cashing in some policies, whatever you do, take advantage of this ridiculous price.

Reading are doomed.

1 win in 18 games, a tough run in, Birmingham now finding form.... I still think Sunderland are going to wake up and win some games. 100/1 to finish bottom is also exceptional value.

Lump it on.

No chance of Sunderland making any sort of comeback. They're doomed. All the Sunderland fans I know have been in utter despair for the last 2 seasons at least. A product of several years of neglect, continuous churn of ever more mediocre and incompetent managers and players and an absentee owner who just wants out. In fact, If I was a betting man, I'd be inclined to put a couple of quid on them going straight through to League 2. Birmingham might be more of a threat, particularly now that Monk has Clotet, who was always the brains of the partnership, back with him after not following him to Boro.
We're usually skipping around the function room in our long-johns by now...

Jaap has been arseholed finally, a promising start lead to some frustratingly negative football and an utter cluelessness in regards to how to deal with the current situation. The playoff final was pretty much where all the mess began for mine, an excruciating game to watch.

I took 15/2 a fortnight ago, after I saw their run in.

Wish I'd waited :(

Good start for Clement, he managed to at least instil some fight into the team yesterday. Apparently they looked absolutely shattered at the end of the game which suggests fitness may have been a bit of an issue under Stam. (We have conceded a lot of late goals this season.)

I’ve got (what now feels like) a measly 17/2 but can’t believe with our tough run in we are now 12/1 to go down after getting a lucky result against QPR, whilst other teams below us actually played really well and picked up point(s) against decent teams at the weekend.
