The Generic Sport Watch Thread

Well, that was a helluva weekend.

VAR shitshow in football + Man U and Man C both getting beaten.

Ryder Cup

Prix de L'Arc De Triomphe

Ryder Cup was epic. Read a bit this morning about how crap the coverage was in the US, thankfully Sky was excellent. So much to keep up with when almost every shot of the 12 singles yesterday was important, I thought they did a brilliant job of keeping up with the action.

One comment on the crowds - although partisan, there wasn't much I would call obnoxious (certainly SOME - "get in the hole" is bad enough, but "get in the water" should result in an immediate ejection) which is refreshing considering how the US crowds every 4 years make it almost unwatchable (for me).

Well, Arsenal v Man City was very disappointing.

Maybe Arsenal have found a way to counter City’s brilliance (matching them toe to toe with flair hasn’t worked as they aren’t quite as good at it) and it’s a great result for the PL, but that was not a great watch!
