WDD, thanks. I'll be honest- the list is getting a bit outdated now. I might take a look at it if people start to complain about link rot and the like.

Guys, I found this freeware DVD ripper online:
http://www.freewarezoom.com/archives/free-dvd-ripper
No trial, no limits on what it can rip. I just tried to rip a 40 minute programme from one of my old compo DVDs with no problems.

Does Clean Up work with Vista?. Vista is not listed as a supported OS on its website.

That would be great if you have the time. I`d really appreciate it,I`ve found it very useful for myself and helped a few friends off the board as well.

I have a question... does CD Burner XP burn avi files to a DVD format I can watch on my regular TV? I know DVD Santa does but it costs. The free DVD Santa says it has a watermark on the file. Is that a huge watermark all over the image or just a wee corner thing?
Yes, yes that's at least two, maybe three. Sorry.
Can you advise me similarly, please, U.W.?

Right done it, & it works, but I have a watermark which says you can only get rid of it by registering it, but I need a code. Help!

I tried downloading DVD shrink, but was unable to.
It seems to have moved.
Can anyone help?

Try this: http://www.dvdshrink.org/
However, all development work on DVD Shrink ceased years ago, so it may not work on current PCs.

Looks like that may be the case for me. Is there anything else similar?
