Can't Access Ebay - Cookie Settings Issue?

I habitually use Ebay for buying and selling. From yesterday I haven't been able to sign in to my user account and keep getting referred to the log in page where my user name which is normally displayed correctly is just showing as a series of symbols i.e.｛���o����{�����[��������'�i��i��i�

When I type in my user name and pw I keep getting a page telling me 'my browser is set not to receive cookies'. I've gone into Internet Options and set up Ebay in the sites section accepting all cookies. Yet still I keep getting the same problem. Meanwhile, I can stilll log in no problem on my iPhone.

Any ideas?

Yes, I get the same in IE and Mozilla.

The internet signal to my PC room is exceedingly weak at present so I wonder whether that might be buggering things up?

Might it be your firewall or antivirus? Or have you installed any browser plugins or set preferences asking not to be tracked?

Presumably you're able to login to other sites successfully (i.e. ones you're not already logged into)...
