iPad2 flash

Postby Apollo's Frock » 26 Feb 2013, 15:50

All I wanted to do was listen to Talksport on the iPad.

Hello, you have no flash plug in.

Okay... But Apple have never embraced Adobe so...

Flowplayer HTML5?

Found a download link, they want a hundred dollars.

I expect there must be a way around this. :?:

Anyone?

TuneIn Radio app?

Seems to have mixed reviews in the App Store but at least one of the featured reviewers seems to think the app is at fault for buffering when that's far more likely to be the data signal strength. Plus if you're not in a strong signal area you can choose to stream using a lower bitrate, which for TalkSport seems ideal (and uses less of your data allowance).

I have it on my Android and it works perfectly.

I have an android too (Sony) and Talksport is bookmarked and works fine like anything else.

This is just another downside I have found by Apple, like, no directional keys on the keyboard. :?:

I will try the app stores for what you suggest, thank you.

There's a free Talksport app in the App Store that claims to offer streaming.
