There's a volume control icon in the taskbar (bottom right hand corner of the screen) on my Windows 7 PC. Is there a way to make this volume control appear "on top" of all the other open windows? It's a right pain to adjust every time the phone rings.
My old keyboard had volume +, volume - and mute, but it died yesterday.

Some music players will pause if you hit the space bar, then resume the same way. Might be a quick solution?

No, it just takes me to the bottom of the page.

What player are you using?
Do the 'File' thing on the menu and see if they list a hotkey/combo to pause/resume or even mute.

I found a solution! By playing 6Music via iTunes instead of the iPlayer, I can set the iTunes mini window to always be on top. Nice one, top one, sorted.
