Sorry to cause grief for you Roky, but shouldn't each song be added to the existing lists? As it stands, this is like tossing a coin for which list goes to the semis.

I thought about it, of course, but I wanted to spice things up a bit and as the match was undecided at 8 votes each, this seemed like a fun way to go.

Youtube is blocked for me so all I see is white boxes. Could you tell me what the options are?

I agree. The tie breakers have to be seen in the context of their original lists. Where are the rules!?

For those who can't see YouTube, the two songs are:
A
Jethro Tull - Thick As A Brick (Part 1)
B
Pink Floyd - Cirrus Minor
I vote B

Just the one song! And two great choices too. A very tight one but I think I've just got a go for Tull.

It does seem particularly unfair to just put one song each up. After all, isn't it ultimately the lists we are supposed to be voting for?

Fair enough. In light of complaints (particularly from one of the competitors through pm.), I'll start the process again with the full lists. Personally, I think it's a good idea to add a bit of tension and if I do this contest again next year, I would like to introduce this as a rule. I had intended to do this from the beginning and thought I'd stated that, but as it wasn't clear, I'm happy to run the tiebreak again. So, this tiebreak is cancelled. As it’s now Sunday and not everyone will be around, I’m not going to start the new tiebreak until Monday morning GMT.

Yes, but when voting for the lists, the tie ended in a draw, so why keep going over them? Let's have a bit of fun! I want add a bit of penalty shoot-out style drama to the contest and I definitely intend to do this next time around. But as everyone is used to the main BCB Cup format, we'll stick generally to that for this time around.

Re: Tiebreaker Cancelled For Today.
You might as well start it now as there's a set number of voters. It won't make any difference to the vote.
