Who's Still In ?

Postby NMB » 05 Feb 2011, 10:58

I'm not sure who the original 16 were so I've lost track. But I know that Fartpants is through.

Next year I am going to sign up. My parents were big prog fans Yes, Genesis, Gong, King Crimson etc. I must revisit. It's been a long time.

Please do Jed, you'll be very welcome. How are you doing in the BCB Cup, by the way? Past the first round I hope?

Okay, highly amusing though it is, let’s not be distracted by this completely expected and predictable troll activity: there’s Quarter Final business at hand! I’ve now got all the lists in, so there’s just the small matter of the draw. And that will be made later today by my three year old Grandson, when we go to visit for Sunday lunch…if I can prise him away from The Octonauts, that is! As he’s so concerned about the purity of the Prog Cup, I was thinking of asking solarskope to make the draw, but at the end of the day, I wanted someone with a bit more maturity. Good luck to all concerned and remember…keep voting!

Aren't they brilliant?

Even my six and seven year olds still watch it.

Sadly, they are growing out of Postman Pat which is my all time favourite. I just can't get them to watch it with me.

I love my wooden Postman Pat sorting shapes Van- it sits in the music room in pride position

Yes, The Octonauts are fantastic, especially the exciting theme tune, which we’re always singing. He’s still into Postman Pat, as is my two year old Granddaughter, but I think they probably prefer Fireman Sam. Scooby Doo is also a big favourite: it’s amazing how that cartoon has stood the test of time. I’ve tried to get them into The Hair Bear Bunch & Hong Kong Phooey, but no, it’s got to be Scooby Doo.

Split up and look for clues

Great stuff!

They made two films "with actual people" as my boys say. Both well worth getting on DVD. The second has Rowan Atkinson in it

Is this the first time that Carlsson has progressed (see what I did there?) to the second round of a cup?

It jumped the shark when they introduced the annoying Scrappy Doo.

I see what you did and this could indeed be one for the statisticians to work on.

Hope you'll be in next time around, by the way?

Yeah I'll definately be in, though I'd have to remind myself of some of the more obscure tracks.
