A has 2 of my favourites in You Can't Kill Me and Stranger in Blue Suede Shoes but it also has the thoroughly underwhelming Moody Blues. But I hardly know any of B's list. So although B is probably wonderful (I don't have Youtube access to check the links) familiarity means I have to choose A.

Because we are such a close loving community I reckon I know the recipient of both robust lists!!

A close one and a dilemma.

A list with Gottsching, UK and Focus' AQ/QA clinches it [sorry A]

Damn. Again fine lists. The TD-track is a beauty but there's a bit more in list B to my liking!

I know more of A which has the magnificent Legend Of A Mind, which I almost chose myself. I've suffered Grobschnitt before. I'm short of time to listen to anything new so it'll have to be A.

They are two terrific lists. In A it's nice to see Ant Phillips in there. The Brian Eno track is somewhat broad church but an ace song. excellent Yes, Hawkwind, Tangerine Dream and Kevin Ayers picks and that Faust track has become a recent favourite of mine since I bought the Krautrock comp that it features on.

For B Kraftwerk, Aphrodite's Child and Genesis are the highlights but great Camel and Gottsching tracks too. I'll have to check out the UK track as I've never heard that particular album and there are a couple of others I will check out when I'm on a computer with speakers but I'll be surprised if any of them will sway me from A.

A tough one for me. A has my beloved Siberian Khatru, as well as the great Hawkwind song, Psychedelic Warlords, but B has a greater spread of songs that appeal to my personal taste. Well, I’m going to go for…

B.

Both a bit too prog in places for my liking. You lot may be competing the prog cup, but I am (perhaps alone) in the progressive rock cup.
However, that curmudgeonly delineation aside, having taken the time to listen to the tracks I wasn't familiar with, they are both cracking lists of songs (their occasional lack of progressiveness aside, naturally, and yes I am going to bang on about this throughout) and I really enjoyed them. The vote, after much agonising goes to:
