The Funky Meters in Brooklyn

Postby Qube » 27 Jun 2013, 01:34

Just wondering if anyone can help me out here...

I have two tickets to see The Funky Meters at Brooklyn Bowl on the 5th of October, something else has come up and I'd like to either sell them or swap them for one of the other shows they are playing (they are also playing Brooklyn Bowl on the 3rd & 4th).

Ideally if anyone else here was going it would be nice to go to one of the shows together anyway... but if anyone is interested or knows someone who is interested in my tickets for the 5th (as I said, either selling or swapping) I'd be grateful :)

I have a friend in Brooklyn who's a huge Meters fan, but I haven't talked to him in a while. He actually used to post here, but it's been years. I wouldn't be surprised if he had tickets already, but I'll contact him and let you know if he shows any interest.

I'm going on the 5th which leaves me with one ticket, it's free to a good home if anyone knows someone who would be interested, I just don't want to see it go to waste.

Sorry, I totally dropped the ball on this. I just sent my friend a facebook message. If he responds I'll have him contact you. (He used to be a BCBer, but I imagine his account's not active.)

Well, he got back to me but says he can't make it. Sorry, I tried. Hope you find a taker. Were I in Brooklyn, I'd go in a NY minute...
