I don't know if I'm interested; I've seen 4 of the 5 listed before. Strawbs about 10 times, Focus 3 (see what I did there?), Wishbone 4 (again; I'm on a roll here) even Rick Wakeman about 5 years ago as he was playing locally. But I've never ever seen Hawkwind, although it might have made more sense to see them about 40 years ago. And I think I saw a rumour of John Lees BJH being added to the bill, which might tempt me.

Whereas I've only seen Hawkwind ( today's incarnation is a little pale) and Rick Wakeman. So yes, interested.

I think I might well attend this one. I'd like to see who they add to the bill first though.

It's the sort of thing I might go to and buy a ticket on the day if the weather's going to be good; I don't want to spend £42 plus travel to stand in a muddy South London park and get wet.

JLBJH to play Crystal Palace Garden Party
----------------------------------------------------------

John Lees' Barclay James Harvest are pleased to
announce that they will be playing the Crystal
Palace Garden Party on Saturday, June 23rd,
together with a great line-up including Rick
Wakeman, Hawkwind, Curved Air, Strawbs and Focus.
The organisers wanted a strong act to start the
event to draw punters in from the beginning of
the day, so JLBJH will open the show and play for at least one hour.

Now with added Curved Air.

If only The Rokster were here.

I'm warming to the idea of going to this.
