Re: Ray's Photos
Part Two
Is all over the place from the print archives
Three Brown Bottles
Calli & Bill at Abbey Street Faversham, 1972, summer term
Guests
At my wedding, June 1988. Frankie, by then and ever after with orange hair, and Shaky, who had mutated
from would-be beatnik, through rocker, to creepy Lounge Lizard (and from there, presumably, to old geezer,
but have not clapped eyes on him since 1994)
Not Cut Out for Farming
Johnny G of the red hair, pallid skin and complete lack of muscle bulk shows willing with a fork before
the famous party. Sussex 1976. Speaking of which, here's another from the same day...
Chilling
Jayne and Anni
Romanesque
A 12th-century door on a church I can't recall...
Pick and Tired
Clive and Holly, Aberystwyth 1976-7
Mirroring
Fisherman Bob and Adrian at 3 Carlton Mansions, when it was still officially a furnished flat. 1977, Cricklewood.
Next time, coming to the end of May, and the usual farrago of numskulls with the prints

Re: Ray's Photos
Part two has been shortened to accommodate it, and is agreeably random and pointless. From the Print Scans folders:
Grandmother
Fisherman Bob tends Bill's dope plant, Brighton 1976
Suspicion
Sarah, Llanbadarn, Aberystwyth 1979-80
Concession to Heatwave
Keith, Burgess Hill, 1976
OMG the State of Him
Brighton, 1976
Wild Times at the Mansions
Adrian and Bill make small talk at my 'stag night' at home in the Mansions 29/6/88
More of this sort of thing tomorrow

Re: Ray's Photos
In part one, images from a hot party and its aftermath, along with general randomness from the Print-scan archives, while in part two there's stuff from This Month. Phew! Rock & Roll!
Party Games 1: Hunt the Vodka
Celia, Surrey, 1976
Party Games 2: Bobbing for Feet
As above, Jacquie and Celia and unknown spaniel
The Following Day
Tony W, Jacquie and Celia on Brighton Beach, the morning after the party
Hipster in Leisurewear
Paul C, The Mansions, at my 'stag night' exactly 30 years ago – to the day
Hippy Throwback
Hawk, Dorset, 1976-ish
Visitor from America
Although Pete was born in England, his parents had moved to South Bend to follow his father's work. Johnny was from back there.
This outside Buckingham Palace, about 1973
Knocking it Back
TT and Celia wrap themselves around a bottle of Mateus Rose by the Thames at Putney, spring of 1974

Re: Ray's Photos
In part one, June continues to flame, featuring some fireworks from the garden, while the tedious parade of technically
underwhelming pics of druggy foolishness from the 1970s continues unabated in Part Two
Roman Candle
Allium
Rocket
Columbine
Catherine Wheels
Irises
General Confusion
Refreshed
The dining room window gets its annual wash, and the plants on the sill their even less frequent brush-up
Over the Fence
Foxgloves in my second-favourite garden in the village
Tomorrow, venturing out, albeit timidly

Part Two
Bill moved into the house that Mike and I bought at East Street, Faversham, around 1974 and stayed there for two years or so,
working as a postman. The first five of these pics featured his drug den in the upstairs front, and can't be dated any closer than 'mid-70s'.

The first four in Part One today feature Michael Aufrere Williams, aka Shaky, who was, maybe still is, congenitally unable

Re: Ray's Photos
Part Two
Is back in the past, when photos were printed on crap paper that does not scan properly
Pete Ferd(i)nand
Pete was a pal of Adrian, the other Pete and the others who took over the Abbey Street House when we left. Come to think of it,
he was part of another houseful of studes further up that street. In the mid-seventies he went to the USA, last heard of in Galveston.
He was a mate, a stoner who loved Little Feat. Now I can't even remember how to spell his name
Oo Aaar
Bill tries to rock the Thos. Hardy/Victorian yokel look, but the specs and general floppy foppery don't fit. South Downs, 1976 or so
First
Hawk's first car, like all subsequent ones, was a big clunker with lots of miles on the clock.
He was, and remains, a big fan of Kerouac (as do I, but I never identified with Casady. Hawk, a natural
speedfreak with a runaway metabolism, did). Canterbury, 1973 or so.
Runes
A leap in time here: Sarah, a teenage Matt and Blue the dog, Swansea, about 1992
Wincheap
Street in Canterbury containing more than one famous stude hovel; loads of people I know lived at number 96*,
primarily hawkmoth but plenty of others. Me and Mike and Bill lived there in the summer between quitting
23 Abbey Street and moving in to the house in East Street
* not in shot
Going Coastal
A view along the Jurassic Coast from Sidmouth. Maybe 21st century, this one
Up and Over
Balloon and farm in the Golden Valley (named for the colour of the stone) between Bath and Bristol. 1990s
Treasure
Probably 1990s, could be anytime
Tomorrow, things get a bit, well, trippy
