Part Two
21st century print scans

Star of the show today is a copper sculpture water fountain I bought in July 2007, pictured soon after buying, before everything
oxidised. It hasn't been set up since 2010, and will be on its way to the scrapyard soon – there really is a lot of copper in there.

Today in Part one, some scanned prints from the 1970s. I didn't start taking transparencies until the last years of the decade, so all of my pics from my stude and later days in Kent and early working life in London are in this format. Part two, by contrast, features the usual suspects from mid-May this year

Image
Five Dealers and a Maths Teacher
A couple of fellow teachers at Ashford Police Academy and some Faces from the Canterbury scene celebrate end of term in July 1972 at the Olive Branch by the cathedral gate; featuring Jim, Graham E, JDO'D, Sgt-Major Dave, Roger the Gimp and Mad Michael Moore

Image

Image
Cleft for Me
Billy again, at Langstone Rock in Dawlish (I think - his parents lived in the town). I was always impressed in this pic by the echo of the gap in the cliffs provided by his skinny legs

Image

Jacques (pronounce Jakes) early 1972, somewhere in the Downs

Image

Bill again, the same day as the picture of Jacques above

Image
Team Faversham
Calli, Dave P, Pete Brennan (a ringer), Bill, Jacques and Mike holding his ball: all but Mr B, a Brummy poet, sometime residents of the house at 23 Abbey St. 1972, Faversham Rec

There's a fair few of this vintage coming up: please contain yr excitement

First up, it's the feckless bozos as promised from prints taken in the 1970s, then back to Devon for more of May this year...

Image
Brunswick Square
This Regency oblong was a favoured place for Frisbee in Bill's first sojourn in Brighton in the mid-70s. The pallid creature in the rolled-up jeans next to him is, I believe, Fisherman Bob, Mike's kid brother

Image
Adi and Ted
Apologies for the quality here, but the print had degraded badly. From 1974 to 1977 I lived in a grand floor flat in Putney Bridge Road, south-west London, with a succession of flatmates, the last of them being Adrian. Ted McEnuff lived upstairs on his own, a guy who had been born in the 19th century and grew up in the countryside before World War I. He had plenty of tales to tell, and was as clear as a bell.
