Most Wednesday evenings in the ’80s, Ed would turn up with some beers to score some hash and listen to music

Well that was fun, for me at any rate, and I might do it again tomorrow, or revert to format. I'm so unpredictable!

Or how about I apply Solomon's Razor and split the difference?
Part one is ten days into September this year in Sandford, while Two goes back 41 years to London

Yes that was funny. After being left in the car (with ventilation) while we ate, traffic home was briefly slow parallel to a layby where they were selling sausage sandwiches. He'd never tried it before, but he did try to casually slip out in a sly, understated "I'm just stepping out for a moment, won't be long"-style. I'm still laughing at the vision of his legs uplifted mid-walk out but being collared back by the Keeper.

Re: An image (or two, or three, maybe a dozen. Or more) a day
Part Two
Clive
Old school friend down in London on visit. Next week I'm off to Wales to help him celebrate his 70th. Now that my mother has died,
our friendship is the longest surviving relationship I have. He's the only person I know who met my father (don't count cousins I speak
to once every five years or so to confirm latest deaths in extended family).
Toots
Toots, a puppy trailing chains and a bit of rope behind her, bounded up to Chip in the street in Stamford Hill one day in 1983 or ’4
and the pair of them bonded immediately (Chip reported her find to the police, but no-one came forward – the fact that she was
utterly perplexed by the staircase in the Mansions suggested she had lived her short life – she was still a pup – entirely out of doors,
probably with Travelers). Chip named her Tootsie, because her coat was all black save for one white toe. She died in January 1987,
just before Chip moved to Bristol. She took in a rescue dog, a whippet x Jack Russell called Sallywags, in Spring that year.
Window Display
The living room in my first floor flat from the street.
Fortune
For sale in Portobello market, where I went on a weekly basis to get my supplies from one of the traders there – that's his stall,
I think – my records from Rough Trade, and coffee and chat with pals Ed and/or Tony, who lived off opposite sides of Ladbroke Grove
Coffee with TT
Slang lexicographer, cultural commentator and urbane academic TT in his basement flat in Ladbroke Grove, directly across
the road from Sarn Studios, where Live Aid was recorded.
Ossie's Testimonial
Spurs vs Inter Milan in a testimonial fort Ardiles, in which Maradona guested for Spurs, who won 2-1. Chris Waddle shoots
from a free-kick. Maradona is the fifth Spurs player from the left.
More of this sort of thing may be forthcoming tomorrow

Re: An image (or two, or three, maybe a dozen. Or more) a day
Things are going to get less predictable for a week or so round here in terms of regular posting, as it's my birthday tomorrow – nay, today, – and we're off to South Wales for a few days on Wednesday to celebrate the 70th of a school friend. And right now I'm going to reinstate the Deep Devon selections from 2013 in part Two. Part one holds no surprises, though
