Part 2

In 2005, we moved from Bristol to Clevedon. Here, we go the other way.
I moved to Bristol in 1990 and only left the area in 2010, when we moved to Devon. Don't recall going back there
since. Anyway, 20 years, eh? This may take a while

Certain types of photograph come in to their own at certain times of the year. January goes with sunsets, not because they are specifically
spectacular at that time of year, but because they are when I'm taking the dog for his second walk. And of course there are no leaves on
the trees, so I get good silhouette.

Part Two

Continues to ramble about Bristol in both senses of the verb, and finally manages to drag itself away from the water and off east to frontier country.
There's a lot more to it than that: Vide:

Long View
From the heights of Ashton Court in the south-west of the city looking to the hills (L-R) of Freezing Hill,
Lansdowne and Kelston Round Hill, behind which nestles Bath

The Frome
Underground now for its last half mile before flowing into the Avon, the Frome emerges, still walled in but open to the sky, near Stapleton

Image
Cycleway
An old railway line between Bristol and Bath. The path could be accessed about 100 yards from where we lived in Oldland Common,
in the extreme south-east of the city, but this pic is from the ’80s, before we moved there

Image
Edge of Town
There was a faint air of boondocks banditry about Mangotsfield, where Chip lived from 1987 to 1990

whom we didn't know then (about 1987) but who cleaned house for us in the mid-90s and later became a friend.
