I love Creedence and I have certainly played them more than the Beatles

Last time I saw the lads live was with my dear friend LMG
Camden - Audience were supporting.
Poor Micky wasn't well....
.
It was a fabulous show! Man supported by Audience. In 2005.
It was one of Micky Jones's last UK shows, possibly his last London shows.
I became a total fan after that show - the heroism and grit and delight in playing (Micky's son George Jones was the other guitar player) from the stage and the love, sympathy, and respect from the crowd were overwhelming. (well, they shouted 'Bananas' and smoked dope, but in a sympathetic and respectful manner).
Deke Leonard's books about his time in Man and his time in rock performing are simply essential. Despite some sexism pertaining to his era riddled throughout the oeuvre (old Deke had no qualms about making liberal use of working girls, and sometimes bartering and short-changing them for a laugh).
By coincidence, I saw Lynynrd Skynyrd not long (well, four months) before the plane crash in 1977, on the same tour that ended so tragically.
It was my first live rock show ever.

Well done lad.
Please sit back and play Bonjour Gioacchino as loud as you dare.
Epic tub thumping.

Silly bugger , you never need to apologise to me my learned friend. I have several CDR copies of epitaph , tangerine dream etc that you sent me many moons ago ( even a Power of the Picts album I couldn't find anywhere!)
You helped me find that Krautrock/Euro proto prog that has given me pleasure for years.
