Giving this a go. Came across a Stray thread on the Hoffman forum and a poster after praising Stray's debut said it belonged right up there with & cited May Blitz' first album & a few others.

Five minutes in & it sounds fine, not yet outstanding as Stray are. Growing on me though.

New Italian band’s debut release from last year, sung in native tongue, female vocalist.

It’s ok.

You seem a little reserved there LR - not just me then who thinks similarly.

Correct. Not as good as Stray but has it's moments as does the second album

Many cracking moments.

Edited in.
In fact more than many cracking moments, much better than I remembered. Must have forgotten to take my hand knitted ear mufflers off last time I played it.

I'm going to have to give this a play now, can't even remember the last time I put May Blitz on. This cover is only a little better than the first.

Okay listened to both albums now - they're okay, not great by any means but worth a listen.

Boy, do I hate drum solos, there has never been a good one as far as I am concerned and I don't care who the drummer was, I hate them. They're even worse when done live and I've seen a few. Why do drummers think anyone wants to listen to them? They're just dull and boring. Play the song, sing the song, get it done, cut the crap.

Worst most pointless drum solo ever on record? I nominate Hughie Flint (sorry Hughie) on the Bluesbreakers' album, at least it was short.

Shall give it a play some time - the first was fine enough.

Yes JJ - they, May Blitz, weren't great - better live.

I am going to have me a bit of jazz before the PSL - a bit of the great miles Davis.

The matinee show from The Festival Hall, Osaka, 1975.

Perhaps the evening show later - certainly tomorrow.

Cosey's guitar is awesome!

Not familiar with the Osaka shows. Shall join in with the jazz vibe, playing Bugs in Amber's second outing, the excellent Get the Blessing, a veritable pot potpourri of sounds.
