The Sabs had some weird covers and the one above is no exception, their first cover was probably the best.

This cover is particularly hideous!

What was Bill Ward thinking?!

My JT prog holy trinity - three excellent albums although the first could be in there as well. The first was so completely different to anything else when it came out and I really liked the bluesy, jazzy element to it, wish they'd carried on in that vein for a little longer.

An underrated Yes album - I think so, has some great tracks on it.

One or two in the 'broad church' category but no apologies.

Not the best BC album but better than I remembered - haven't played it in a while but loud it sounds pretty good.

Took me a long time to get into Donovan and this part of his career was probably his best.

The American Dollar - Atlas

I don’t listen to much post rock these days, it’s all gone a bit stagnant really, but thought I’d have a look around for stuff I haven’t heard before and this is quite pleasant.

Marblewood - s/t

Heavy guitar stoner psychedelic jam rock from Switzerland - haven’t played it in ages. Good to revisit.

I don’t know why but Roine Stolt’s voice irritates me, as does his hair and his glasses. No idea why I seem to have taken against him, it’s an odd one really, completely irrational....

Anyway, that said, I do quite enjoy this album so maybe I’m growing out of it.
