One of my favourites. Their best? Produced by George Martin. For some reason Dangerous Bacon is louder than the other tracks.
It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.

Yes I went there.... not as bad as I remember it from the week of release when, I have to say, I had never been as disappointed by any new release... EVER.

But it ain’t no Bends or OKC.

Swedish Prog metal, but not very metal. Pain of Salvation and Opeth are the closest points of reference I can give from my relatively thin knowledge of the genre.

Oh well thought I’d give ‘em another go. (My God, there’s a lot of live albums to choose from on Spotify, I quickly counted 103 plus compilations!)

This is ok, but could really have done without an extended jam of Dancin’ in The Streets (a song I have disliked intensely since the risible version by Bowie and Jagger).

Great album, Mayall's best I think. Saw him with this band in Catford somewhere and they were absolutely red hot brilliant, one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Mick Taylor was on fire that evening.

Also saw his previous Bare Wires band in Norwich and they were pretty fab as well.

I’ve been having another go at Grateful Dead this week.

Enjoyed this one (although obviously it’s a Dylan song).
