They hit some real heights, and this is one of them for me.

Be interested whether anybody else sees the attraction as I think I’m the only one who has posted them up over the years.

A Masterpiece, no doubt.

Only a couple of times. I like it but can’t put it in the same ballpark as his early classics. Yet.

soundchaser wrote:ELP: Black Moon. A more commercial ELP album and one unfortunately tied to the now cheesy sounding instruments of the day, but I have a real soft spot for this album. Good songs and great playing make this a guilty pleasure, not. Excellent tour to support this album that concluded with a blistering version of Rondo. My eldest son really liked this album at the time, so happy memories associated with this album.

I even like the first tack on the one after that, In the hot seat
there was something about it that promised some good stuff
then it went down the drain :?

I wasn’t even aware of this album until yesterday. Not bad, very bluesy.

Prog Goons 1 and 2 - the full 20 can't be displayed as a whole in the thread title - hence split into two

Happy to report I’ve given in (I don’t like the 02) and bought decent tickets to see Prog God Steven Wilson on Saturday 19th September 2020. Prog goon Huw is also attending.

Who else is going?
It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.

Hmm, I might do. Better get my act together. Do we know who’s in the band for this tour?
