Giving this a try. Think APP were mentioned on a PSL & that I might enjoy them so I'm giving them a try, slightly apprehensive that I might find it a bit sterile. OK so far, about half way through The Raven.

I like this album a lot

APP - Tales of...

Again, need to play it again. Preferred the songs with vocals rather than the Fall of the House of Usher suite.

Which I'm really enjoying. I'm streaming an expanded edition which has a concert, presumably complete added to it I've played the studio cuts & then jumped to the full concert. All excellent so far, sadly I'm unlikely to have time to hear it all tonight & will have to stop after C'mon which I'm hugely looking forward to - a 20 minute jam I assume.

Anathema albums on shuffle play last night’s drive home. (Excl the doom / death metal phase.)

I’ve been on a bit of a PFM trip recently. Not a poor man’s ELP at all...they were the real deal.

Faultless, classic album. In the top five of all time for me.

Perhaps No. 3, just behind Sgt. Pepper and Dark Side Of The Moon.

I've given this album a few listens, and have to say I'm rather disappointed with it. I much prefer the 3 man line up album Danger Money.

I think this is quite a poor album really. Great playing, but really weak songs.

I agree. Mojave Plan, is most excellent.

I’m in total agreement. I’ve never heard Danger Money

A very good late 80s album, lots of good melodies and some elements of his more spacey 70s RCA era

I think I like I Robot a touch more but those first two albums are probably all you really need by them though I am partial to the instrumental tracks even on the later albums

Unbelievably, an outtake. Slow Train, is better than most of the songs on Fireball.
