American indie with massive arrangements that lift it beyond my expectations for that genre.

This paired-down acoustic version of one of the album’s biggest moments, the hugely massive The Grocery, gives no indication whatsoever of what they sound like on record, but nevertheless, is just brilliant.

Great cover , a bit porcupine tree in places, lacks that killer touch.

The Achim Reichel track is top.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Heard some of this in a shop this afternoon couldn't resist the complete album when I got home.

Why doesn't 'Dance The Night Away' ever seem to appear on any of their compilations - I love that track?

I was tempted, but have all of it on vinyl, original releases
What we need is a good remastered CD box of his first five albums

You're right, it's a great song. Personally, I think there are misses on all their albums, so i reworked them to my own satisfaction. One album '66-'67 and the other '68-'69.

Will have time to hear at least the first CD & am in the mood for it. Probably never need to hear the intros again, but The Grand Wazoo (Think It Over) has started well.

Beatrix Players - Magnified

They are supporting Big Big Train in July so I need to give them a listen.

Not bad, rather Kate Bushy in places.

Now onto the 25th Anniversary, greatly expanded edition of The Who Live At Leeds.

Startling, crystal clear sound quality.

Ferocious.
