Indeed Rob - I saw them on this tour.

I can't for the life of me recall where - not one of the usual suspects I recollect

Reap loved this as do I

They were progressive before progressive even existed.

Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

I'd be happier without side 4

Their best album I think, Trower allowed to rock out.

Not a fan of Revolution 9 C. or is the whole of side 4? What about the other tracks?

I can listen to Revolution 9 these days, whereas I used to take it off immediately. Listening to Scott Walker’s avant-garde albums makes R9 seem tame by comparison.

It should have been a single album!

Some broad church some prog, some great music on both the Lenny and INXS albums. Not really much of a fan of INXS but they did make quite a few cracking good records.

Really? No love for any of them, or have I misunderstood?

Sorry,no love at all. Perhaps with Lenny, it's more of an image thing ...the rock star chic, the leather trousers etc. I gave up on Floyd after Animals, and always felt that Inxs were just average. Sorry, but,on the other hand, I could post 3 albums I like and you might want to come around and burn my house down :D Not that you would..... :o

Have to say that I pretty much gave up on Floyd after Animals as well although I do like Division Bell, not partial at all to The Wall or Final Cut. As for Lenny I've gradually become more fond of him over the years, didn't quite see what all the fuss was about earlier in his career but I like a lot of his stuff now. With regard to INXS, the hits album I posted is enough for me but as I mentioned there are some great tracks on it - Mystify, Suicide Blonde, The Strangest Party, Never Tear Us Apart, plus others.

Horses for courses I guess.

Burn your house down - of course I wouldn't ;)

Was playing it in the car just over an hour ago. Even Mrs SB likes them .... she sings along to "Monkey gone to heaven " with gusto!

Even like this one, regarded as their weakest during their halcyon days
