Couple of the usual uberwankers sat close by taking photos and video on iPhones. One geezer must have got his phone out at least 5 times during every song. He also raised his hands and pointed to the Sky whenever they sang the title of a song. Cunt.

sounds like fun

uberwankers indeed!

Only mentioned it because it rarely gets flagged unlike many other 'masterpieces'. It's regarded by many critics as a masterpiece and appears in many best album ever lists but apart from that rarely see it mentioned.

Kinda funny how Wikipedia lists Hot Rats as Zappa's second album and Money as his third.

Whoever wrote that on wiki is dead wrong!
edit ( unless they are talking about solo albums and albums by Mothers of...
could be the reason you are confused about release dates and so.
Hot Rats is a solo album, his second one, the first being Lumpy Gravy. )

There are seven (or six depending if you count Mothemania) albums before Hot Rats!

1
The Mothers Of Invention* - Freak Out!

Official Release #1.
Released June 27, 1966.

2
The Mothers Of Invention* - Absolutely Free

Official Release #2.
Released May 26, 1967.

3
Francis Vincent Zappa* Conducts The Abnuceals Emuukha Electric Orchestra & Chorus* - Lumpy Gravy

Official Release #3.
Released May 1968.

4
The Mothers Of Invention* - We're Only In It For The Money

Official Release #4.
Released March 1968.

5
The Mothers Of Invention* - Cruising With Ruben & The Jets

Official Release #5.
Released December 2, 1968.

6
The Mothers Of Invention* - Mothermania (The Best Of The Mothers)

Official Release #7.
Released March 1969.
Compiled by Frank Zappa himself from Freak Out!, Absolutely Free and We're Only in It for the Money. Contains some unique mixes and edits.

7
The Mothers Of Invention* - Uncle Meat
