I think it's more the fact that Brothers In Arms was one of the first albums to sell megamillions in the then-new CD format.

see. i don't even get the joke when i finally know it's a joke. mwhaha. this makes my life a never-ending series of fun-filled mysteries.

not that i have ever kept track of when cd's were released. i am slightly better at vinyl, only because it's all i spent money on, pre-spawning.

of course, i think the first cd i ever bought may've been machine head.
