We love Harvey
Harvey is all
Harvey is everything
To Harvey we call

"We love you.
We love you.
We love you.
We lo-uh-uh-uh-ove you."

We love Harvey
Harvey is all
Harvey is everything
To Harvey we call

"We love you.
We love you.
We love you.
We lo-uh-uh-uh-ove you."

As Kurt Vonnegut Jr. astutely pointed out, our current national anthem is essentially "gibberish sprinkled with question marks".

Just imagine how thrilling it would be to see and hear the crowd, rising to their feet before the Super Bowl, putting their hands over their hearts and belting out our new national anthem: "Pushin' Too Hard" by The Seeds. I have a dream...
You'd pay big bucks to know what you really think.

En masse:

"YOU BETTER LISTEN GIRL WHAT I'M TELLIN' YOU!
YOU BETTER LISTEN GIRL OR WE ARE THROUGH!"

I for one think it has way more authority than "the Banner".

Possibly 'Pearl's Cafe' by The Specials. I'm sure that a chorus of "It's all a load of bollocks" is something we can all get behind whenever it's played at a football match.

Martha and the Vandellas - Dancing in the Street

I've wanted that to be the national anthem for as long as I can remember.

This should me the anthem for the whole world:
Song
Tune: For a' that.

Is there for honest Poverty
That hings his head, an' a' that;
The coward slave-we pass him by,
We dare be poor for a' that!
For a' that, an' a' that.
Our toils obscure an' a' that,
The rank is but the guinea's stamp,
The Man's the gowd for a' that.

What though on hamely fare we dine,
Wear hoddin grey, an' a that;
Gie fools their silks, and knaves their wine;
A Man's a Man for a' that:
For a' that, and a' that,
Their tinsel show, an' a' that;
The honest man, tho' e'er sae poor,
Is king o' men for a' that.

Ye see yon birkie, ca'd a lord,
Wha struts, an' stares, an' a' that;
Tho' hundreds worship at his word,
He's but a coof for a' that:
For a' that, an' a' that,
His ribband, star, an' a' that:
The man o' independent mind
He looks an' laughs at a' that.

A prince can mak a belted knight,
A marquis, duke, an' a' that;
But an honest man's abon his might,
Gude faith, he maunna fa' that!
For a' that, an' a' that,
Their dignities an' a' that;
The pith o' sense, an' pride o' worth,
Are higher rank than a' that.

Then let us pray that come it may,
(As come it will for a' that,)
That Sense and Worth, o'er a' the earth,
Shall bear the gree, an' a' that.
For a' that, an' a' that,
It's coming yet for a' that,
That Man to Man, the world o'er,
Shall brothers be for a' that.

Watching the London leaders and their proxies unite against a simple democratic measure tells me all I need to know about the UK in any form. Their interests are not Scotland's interests.

Even though it's depressing and obvious, at the moment I'd take Keep On Rocking in the Free World!
