If you're a fan of just about everything that came out of Muscle Shoals here's a deal.

Marlin Greene (songwriter) wrote a lot of songs with Eddie Hinton.

He also released one lone solo album. Country Rock, perhaps not the best but worthwhile.

£5.99 + p&p from AmazonUK (8 left).

Saw this earlier, even at half price £60 for one vinyl and one CD plus a lot of unnecessary paraphernalia seems a lot to me. Might just buy the record on its own.

It is worth getting masked up and heading to your nearest HMV if there is one near you. They are having a 'chuck out anything heavy so this balloon can gain altitude!' sale. In order to take in much-needed cash.

https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/price- ... ly-3512162

Yesterday in the shop in Bromley I got stuff from my want list that was a fraction what you could pay on-line:

The Cure 40 Anniversary Curaetion 25 and Hyde Park, double Blu-Ray set £11.99, or the same price on DVD for the hardbook version, or £9.99 for the basic plastic case 2-DVD package. Never below £20.00 on-line, sometimes £30.00.

That last Who album - £2.99

Several Rolling Stones DVD/Blu-Ray/CD packages from Voodoo Lounge/Bridges To Babylon tours - cheap as chips.

Cream Goodbye Tour 4CD box with hardback book - £25.99, irresistible. The guy on the till was like 'WTF!'

It goes for £60+ on amazon, but you can also get it on=line at HMV but please hurry:

https://store.hmv.com/store/music/cd/go ... -live-1968

Go on. Give the dog a bone.

Not strictly music, but if you have or are considering acquiring a blu-ray player, Poundland are doing a surprising range of quality blu-ray discs at the knockdown price of two pounds (for newbies they abandoned the 'everything is a pound' policy a few years back). Mostly new, sometimes refurbished secondhand.

Examples: Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, Hobbit Trilogy, Fast and Furious franchise, The Beatles doc Eight Days A Week, Dunkirk, Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland and:

https://www.poundland.co.uk/360121-replay-blu-ray/

I have collected the Sean Connery Bond films from Poundland (apart from Diamonds Are Forever, which I dislike), and am moving on to the Non-Cons:

Sadly, this of course indicates that hi-definition physical media is in a perilous state. But why not take advantage and fill yer boots while you still can?

Oh, and don't expect to go to your nearest branch and find all these titles. You have to shop around. And be willing to reach up above the display and bring down the boxes of stock not yet placed on the shelves, being careful to replace them (LMG Limited offers this advice in good faith and cannot be held responsible for injuries or shop assistant abuse sustained in the quest for Goldfinger on blu-ray disc)
