Do you own anything unique?

Postby cheifwhat » 09 Nov 2023, 00:08

Not to brag, but when I put my seven-inch singles onto Discogs I noticed I have two records for whom I have the only copy I can find anywhere.

There is a reason there is only one copy mind, they are shit.

The Swedish Folk Song Project - improvisation 1 (think I must have seen them live as part of some event)

And a spoken word record from a preacher... Dr. J. L. Payne – Power Through Your Mind (looks like, in the 80s he wrote a book and had this record cut to promote it with a spoken word excerpt). I found the guy, still preaching on YouTube

I also have an instrumental tune my cousin, Max Gazze wrote for a short film I made in about 2002. I believe I have the only copy of it (on MP3) on old hard drives (except Max, he may have a copy).
Mostly dancing sir,...

I don't think I have any unique slice of music, I've just checked RYM, and things I thought I was the only owner of (releases by Jowonio Productions and Ville Moskiitoo) now have 5 owners. I do have a signed and illustrated wedding card from David Tibet of Current 93 though, which is definitely unique.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Rare but not unique so I've deleted.
Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

Everything in my collection is the only one of it that I’ve got.
