The Mountain band member
and a track on Wheat's debut album called 'Leslie West'
I wonder why?

and a track on Wheat's debut album called 'Leslie West' [I wonder why, the lyrics do not suggest any Leslie reference?
and sometimes it's nice
when we don't talk
when you don't show
and sometimes I spend
way too much time
off my two feet
and it's hard
whispering out your name
and it's good
but I think
I kinda miss you just the same
and then I fall down
I can fall down
when I fall down
and once in a while
I try to try
I try to stand
and it's hard
whispering out your name
and it's good
and I think
and I think
I kinda miss you just the same

Moving on and slightly wider:
Mountain - what band?
Were they just Cream clones? [Felix produced and played on their Wheels of Fire album]
How big would they have been if they had been on the Woodstock film/soundtrack?
Have you ever seen them live? (I have twice and once at the marvellous Rainbow, Finsbury Park, London)
Do you forgive Gail - Leslie never did?
Views on above and in general?

I saw Mountain at the Crystal Palace bowl many moons ago on a bill featuring Pink Floyd and others i have forgotten.....but Mountain stole the show that day and made Pink Floyd look ordinary for want of a better word...

Nice post
I think Mountain would blast many off a stage with their energy and excitement
The image of Felix and Leslie side by side on an extended guitar break with Corky flailing sticks in the background was a sight for sore eyes.
I always felt sorry for Steve the bloke on keyboards….
