Going through yet another cull, I come across many CD's that I didn't even know I had, except on paper. But to see a cover is a whole other thing, and more often than not I am pleasantly surprised. Then you get the CD's where you go, "What was I thinking?" - those are pretty much gone now. A third category might be CD's where you don't remember them, but they have enough merit to keep them. So many artists had one shot, dropped one good album or one good song, but their career failed to take off. We shall never know what Rhianna might have come up with, had she found more success. What we have got is one CD with one outstanding track and a bunch of so-so's. To keep or not to keep, that's the frigging question. The artist remained obscure, but there is one outstanding song which you can only get on that album. Tough choice.
