All solos on this are amazing.
Yes, I hope Spock is OK. Perhaps he mixed up timings?
I have done that recently.

I was wondering too. Hopefully it was just an oversight. It happens.
Maybe - his elderly mum hasn't been well - nor he recently either
Fingers crossed

Off topic but I saw a solo Pat Metheny show last Wednesday. I ended up with third row seats and it was superb. Just Pat on guitar plus about twenty minutes of him with that orchestrion thing which I don’t really care for. Fortunately there was over two hours of just guitar.

This is such a lovely album and has gone by so fast.
I am going to play it at least once again this coming week.
Thank you, Spock.

Fabulous listen.

Roy Haynes turned 98 this year!
99 next March!
He celebrates his birthdays playing live!
Wow.

Coltrane recordings with Roy. An absolutely winning double LP set.
One of my first jazz LP purchases, in the 70s.

Yes, just read that pm.
Positive news - have adjusted my alarm so it will go off every Sunday at 19:56, so as long as I'm earshot should make it.
Currently listening to the album. It's a wonderful thing.
