Well, I'm one of the few who could happily do with the Red, as I much prefer the early Beatles. Red is clunker-free, can't say that about the Blue in any form. But of course I've got both, although I don't remember off-hand if they were the first editions from Apple or the more recent remasters. Both are fine, I'd imagine. What I don't need is Giles Martin's remix of both. Just like I avoided the Yoko-approved remixes of John Lennon's solo catalog.

Pretty sure they are the fatboys and that's good enough for me. They came out after the 1987 batch and were supervised by George Martin.
