I used to have a hell of a lot of CD-Rs from the old days of swapping but I chucked them all out because most of them seemed to have stopped working. They'd gone brown and skipped a lot.
Thankfully, with Spotify, I don't need them.

CD-Rs and DVD-Rs typically go bad after a few years.

just bought a lot of 300 cd's and 30 dvd's for 75 euro.
that's 0.22 euro a piece.
about 32 of those are worthwhile for my own collection.
the rest will go to the prize fund of our next music quiz in September.
even Googa can't beat that.
