Excellent pictures.
I saw Eric Bibb perform a few times over the years.
A true original. He keeps the bluestorch burning.
There's a big difference between kneeling down and bending over

not my pic

Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.

Spotted Nigel from Half Man Half Biscuit on the way out prompting me to think (cue weak HMHB joke)...."Sparks Gig (Seen By My Mates Coming Out Of A)"

I'll get my goat.

Marc Ribot did a brief residence at Cafe Oto in Dalston. It was great, as ever, lots of what I think of as detuned acoustic guitar, not sure if I am right there.

My photos are just quick snaps from my phone to get a bit of a memory. I focus mainly on listening to the music at gigs. I did get a snap of the setlist after, which proved M Ribot is not just hitting his guitar and bashing his strings at random.

Was back in Dalston over the weekend to see The Burning Hell, my favourite current band. I think this was the twelfth time I have seen them in the last five years - sometimes I see them twice in a tour.

Fabulous band. Just a complete pleasure to watch, the audience is always on their side.

The first portion of the Ramsgate show on 25th May was live streamed and is now preserved here:

Bonnie Raitt.

Bonnie was on top form: first-rate singing and guitar-playing. You would not believe she is 73, cracking band too including former Rutle Stig O'Hara on drums.

No photos allowed unfortunately, despite being told I had a photo pass for the gig.

2023 Peach festival was my second time.
The Peachfest was started by Greg Allman and the Allman family have kept it going.
Held at a ski/water park with an amphitheatre makes for a great venue. Along with reserved seating where they let you up front to the empty seats.
I missed the first day but Friday, Saturday and Sunday were amazing.
Friday
Some nicer lower acts like Ally Venable/ Kanika Moore/Yam Yam/Ripe/Couch/Dogs in the Pile
