If anyone wants my collection of Jolly Up CD's, i'm ok with donating to the cause, i'm probably not going to listen to most of them as i do have quite a few of the very early ones and i don't get the chance to listen too often.

Hi R, I have kept most of my JU discs in a box including those from the only London JU I attended in 2005. My wife was with me so I split mt time between speaking to her and the BCBers so didn't get to speak to folk as much as I wanted to. A few of us went to see Desmond Dekker at the 100 Club on the Friday and left the JU early on the Saturday to go to the STAX gig at the Royal Festival Hall at which I remember looking across at one point to see a blissfully happy Bhoywonder dancing away and getting off on Donald Duck Dunn's basslines.
I came across a pm from you last week from more than 10 years ago speaking about your radio show. What became of that?
Some mother's talking 'bout Guns' n 'Roses
As if i give a fuck
At best i think they suck

Radio show? Must have been while i was in the first year of uni, in about 2010 or 2011. Short lived i'm afraid. Can't remember if i was at the Desmond Dekker gig you mention. I definitely saw him at the 100 club at least once (it's all a bit hazy now)
