Good lad!

Lighthouse - a track that is on Tim Blake's marvellous solo album New Jerusalem

That is such a great album

We did a PSL a few years ago.

Anybody remember

Pretty sure I heard an interview with author of LMGs book Joe Banks on Word In Your Ear a few months back.

You are not alone. I watched it live. The BBC coverage was excellent

I whooped when it landed safely!

Nearly 600 pages and it stops just after this album!!

Is it good?

If it is I'll have some of that

.

Short answer: Yes, very good.

Long answer - please assemble your own review using these basic components:

Thorough analysis
captures zeitgeist
dedicated fan author
many many Hawkwind books
story impossible to capture in print
valiant effort
copious rare photos memorabilia
obscure interviewees tracked down
do all the parts make a whole?
impossible subject to contain in print
hours of fun

Harvey's bass is good here.

I remember the quote from Ginger when he got sacked from Hawkwind:

"The world's greatest drummer sacked by the world's worst bass guitarist"....!

mwhahaha. oh yes.

i really am a space freak. i've talked about it before. i watched the moon landing with her ma... it was her birthday... and i, a wee brat, told her i wanted to be an astronaut. she said, "go for it, kathleen."

i didn't end up goin for it, mwhahaha. but i never lost my love. when we heard the first shuttle would be visible in orbit at a certain time, my ma went with me to the top of the levee to see it, her, walkin with her cane.

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooof!

Truly an astonishing achievement.

I was exactly the right age to be drawn into the Moon landing - even bought my local paper's special moon edition with my pocket money.
