Remixes that are better than the original single mixes/radio edits, any examples? The beauty of collecting CD singles/EP's is the sometimes superior remix, even more than an obscure B-side. I have a few examples of such CD singles, and I am not parting with them, as I'd lose the extras or exclusives. One beef is there are too many remixes - was it eight different ones on the EBTG single, "Missing"?
offhand, some examples of a superior remix would be:
Yoko Ono - "Walking on Thin Ice" (Pet Shop Boys remix)

Goodfellaz - "Sugar Honey Ice Tea" (NY Hip Hop Remix)

Beck - Devil's Haircut CD2 - "Dark and Lovely" [Remix by Dust Brothers]

Gabrielle - "Forget About the World" (Trevor Horn Remix)
