During this period, the band was dubbed by some fans—in a tongue-in-cheek manner—as "Fotheringay Convention" and "Fotheringport Confusion", as the core of Fotheringay (Denny, her husband Trevor Lucas, and Jerry Donahue) joined the remaining members of the early 1970s version of Fairport (Dave Pegg, Dave Mattacks and Dave Swarbrick) for this version of the band. Lucas, an Australian, and Donahue, an American, joined Pegg, Swarbrick, and drummer Mattacks in 1973 for the recording of the album Rosie. Denny travelled with the band while they toured in 1974 and began performing with them on stage.

i am here right now, so here's hoping.

3/4 of the wiring in this house has gone kaput, probably made worse by recent power outages. we had electricians here yesterday. they'll be back for awhile. they're not here today. sam has wired up the wifi thingie (router?) to a more stable outlet, trying to help me stay online. the connex still flakes out, though, as it was never really stable to begin with. sigh. so if i disappear mid-listen, at least i have jack. mwhaha.

short form: gearin up.

I have a work meeting at the top of hour two, so I might miss part of Full House, but will stick around as long as I can. The good news is I don't know Rising for the Moon as well, so I'm looking forward to righting that.
