Gosh!
I'd assumed Spotify was the same in each country - I checked that this was on it before suggesting it. I actually thought you'd prefer their next (and last) album, Magic Lady more than you'll enjoy this, but that isn't on Spotify (UK).

Spriguns is the name of a nasty Cornish pixie. The band were originally Spriguns of Tolgus, Tolgus being a tin mine in Cornwall.

"Spriguns of Tolgus" - wikipedia - "Mike and Mandy Morton formed Spriguns of Tolgus as an acoustic duo at their own folk club in Cambridge, England, in 1972. They took the name "Spriguns" from a malignant Cornish pixie and Tolgus from a tin mine in Cornwall"
I have been dreaming very vividly lately - this isn't all a dream, is it? One for the BCB dreams thread on Nextdoorland - 'I dreamed Carlsson had this band for the synch listen - they were called Spriguns of Tolgus or something - I couldn't find it anywhere, but Carlsson said you could only get it in Poundland, but when I went there Yul Brynner was buying all the copies and would not let me have one unless I fought him in a six-gun shoot out in the cleaning products aisle...'

People make the Steeleye/Fairport comparison but I think Trees is nearer

It's more Trees I reckon.
But they have their own identity
They are 'heavier' than both Fairport and Steeleye
This is an excellent album
