Apparently this is the time - just before Valentine's Day that the blokes visit the lingerie shops and buy a certain style of women's underwear and the day after Valentine's Day the women go back to the store and change it for something more comfortable

Dang. I was in Knoxville when they played on that tour and could easily have gone to see them.
Instead of sitting at home and playing XTC and Joy Division records, I mean.
To be fair to young me, I was shaken by an incident seeing the Who in Brighton weeks earlier when the crowd surged forward several times and risked crushing some of us, including a young woman I pulled up from the ground.
Not long after, in Cincinnati's Riverfront Coliseum, there was the tragedy of eleven fans dying.
The Z Z Top show on this tour in March 1980 was the first show there after the tragedy, and went without incident.

They pack a lot into three minutes.
No nonsense - do it and move onto the next!
I love it!

My wife doesn't like Valentine's Day, thinks it's too commercial/meaningless.
A bunch of flowers on other days is much more appreciated.
