Apparently this is the time - just before Valentine's Day that the blokes visit the lingerie shops and buy a certain style of women's underwear and the day after Valentine's Day the women go back to the store and change it for something more comfortable

Dang. I was in Knoxville when they played on that tour and could easily have gone to see them.
Instead of sitting at home and playing XTC and Joy Division records, I mean.
To be fair to young me, I was shaken by an incident seeing the Who in Brighton weeks earlier when the crowd surged forward several times and risked crushing some of us, including a young woman I pulled up from the ground.

Asda's clothing franchise George had a very nice lingerie set for just this purpose in 2008. I got two sets in different sizes after considerable shopping in several branches.
Neither was purchased for wearing myself.
I'm nationwide.
Well, I was.

Not on English Lit, American politics, rock music...
The Robert Johnson albums are a cornerstone of my collection, as such so firmly established in my formative listening experience I don't go to them very often.
