Hahaha! Hope I wasn't too much of a naysayer! I really do like the album a lot, just find it flawed (by Daltrey, mostly).

If we ever do By Numbers I will wax more eloquent than I did with this one.

And, as I said, didn't stop my from enjoying the album or (particularly) the company. Cheers all!

(Next week is super busy as I'm back at work AND have a tightly-deadlined freelance job, so I might miss the next few but will catch you all again when I can.)

I can’t follow that with another rock album. It would pale against many. So it will be a home made Townes Van Zandt compilation on cdr followed by Norma Waterson’s eponymous cd.

Not at all! We need some unbelievers, otherwise it sounds like Tom Cruise addressing a Scientology convention.

I did not take to the album at first, it puzzled me. And now I love it in spite of its flaws.
